The Riwai Living Root Bridge, also called Jingmaham, is a single-decker bridge grown from the aerial roots of rubber trees by Khasi villagers. It is far easier to reach than the double-decker near Nongriat: from the Riwai parking area it is roughly a 10 to 15 minute downhill walk through forest. Expect a modest entry fee and wet stone steps after rain. The bridge is a practical village crossing as well as a striking stop on a Mawlynnong day, and it pairs well with the village sky walk before continuing to Dawki.
