The Mawlynnong Bamboo Sky Walk is a multi-storey tower built from bamboo, rising above the village canopy. Climbing the platforms gives layered views of green hills and, on clear days, the flat plains of Bangladesh in the distance. It is one of the most popular short stops inside the village and works well after a lane walk and before the Riwai root bridge. Go early or late to avoid the midday queue of day-trip groups from Shillong.
