Haridra Nadhi is widely considered one of the largest temple tanks in India, spanning 23 acres beside the Rajagopalaswamy Temple. Known as the sister of the Kaveri River, the tank holds a central mandapam housing the Sri Venugopalaswamy shrine, reached during festivals by boat. The ten-day Aani Theppotsavam float festival transforms the tank into the town's biggest annual celebration, with illuminated floats carrying temple deities across the water each evening.
