Madras Chronicle is a vegetarian restaurant in Mahabalipuram set in a heritage styled dining space. The menu mixes North Indian and continental dishes, including stuffed mushrooms, paneer makhani, butter naan, aloo piyaz kulcha, pizza, waffles and vegetable sizzlers, with a sizzler brownie for dessert. Chaat and noodles are also served. It sits close to the monuments, so many visitors stop in after sightseeing. It opens at 11 AM and closes at 11 PM daily.
