Mapro Garden

Mapro Garden on the Mahabaleshwar-Panchgani road is the most visited commercial attraction in the hill station, run by the Mapro food processing company. The garden sprawls across a hillside with strawberry, mulberry and raspberry plants, a restaurant serving Mahabaleshwar's celebrated fresh strawberry cream and ice cream, a chocolate factory, nursery and children's play area. Fresh fruit jams, crushes, squashes and confectionery can be purchased directly. The garden is particularly popular during the strawberry season from November to March.
