Pazhamudhir Solai is one of the six sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu) of Lord Murugan in Tamil Nadu, located near Alagar Hills outside Madurai. The temple is nestled within a forested hillside and is dedicated to Murugan as Pazhamudhircholavar — the lord of the fruit grove. According to Puranic legend, this is the spot where Murugan revealed the meaning of the Pranava mantra (Om) to Lord Brahma. The temple's forest setting, natural springs, and peaceful atmosphere make it a deeply spiritual destination, and it is an integral part of the Murugan pilgrimage circuit for Tamil devotees.
