Husainabad Clock Tower in Lucknow is the tallest clock tower in India, standing at 67 metres. Built in 1881 by Nawab Nasir-ud-din Haider to commemorate the first visit of Sir George Couper, the Lieutenant-Governor of the United Provinces, the tower was modelled on the Big Ben clock tower in London. The tower features an elaborate Gothic-style exterior with intricate detailing, and its clock was originally imported from England. Located near the Bara and Chota Imambaras, the clock tower is part of the historic Husainabad precinct and is one of Lucknow's most recognisable landmarks.
