Bhulla Tal

Small artificial lake in Lansdowne built by the Garhwal Rifles, with a lakeside walk and seasonal paddle boats.

Bhulla Tal is a man-made lake on the edge of the cantonment, created in memory of junior soldiers of the Garhwal Rifles. A path circles the water, with statues in regimental dress and paddle boats when the lake is not iced over. It is an easy outing if you stay in Lansdowne, especially with children. Combine it with Tip-in-Top or the war memorial the same afternoon.
