Kumbhalgarh Fort

UNESCO hill fort with one of the longest continuous walls in the world, crowning the Aravallis above Kelwara.

Kumbhalgarh Fort was built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha and is one of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Its massive ramparts run for dozens of kilometres through the hills and enclose temples, palaces, and reservoirs. Most visitors spend half a day walking the walls, gates, and palace zone. Arrive early for cooler climbs and clearer Aravalli views.
