Badal Mahal sits at the summit of the Kumbhalgarh Fort complex and is often called the Palace of the Clouds. The two-storey palace divides into Mardana and Zenana sections with painted interiors and stone jalis. From the terraces you look out over the fort walls and the surrounding Aravalli forest. It is included with fort entry and pairs naturally with a rampart walk.
