Darrah Wildlife Sanctuary

Forest sanctuary southeast of Kota, part of the wider Mukundara Hills landscape for wildlife drives.

Darrah Wildlife Sanctuary lies outside Kota in dry forest and hill country that now forms part of the broader Mukundara Hills conservation landscape. Visitors come for jeep safaris and a chance at deer, birds, and other wildlife in a quieter setting than Rajasthan's more famous parks. Cooler months from October to March are the most comfortable for drives. Confirm current safari gates and permits locally before you set out.
