Poruvazhi Malanada Temple

Poruvazhi Malanada Temple is a unique Hindu temple dedicated to Duryodhana, a character from the Mahabharata. Unlike most temples, it does not have a traditional idol; instead, the deity is worshipped on an elevated platform called Malanada. The temple is famous for the Malanada Kettukazhcha festival, where massive decorative chariots and structures are paraded as offerings by devotees, making it one of the most distinctive temple festivals in Kerala.
