Bhama Askhed Dam is an earthfill dam on the Bhama river near Khed, standing 51 metres tall and stretching over 1,400 metres in length. Completed to support irrigation and to supply part of Pune city's drinking water, the dam holds back a wide reservoir that spreads across the surrounding farmland. The area draws a modest trickle of visitors for its open views and quiet waterside walks, though it remains primarily a working irrigation and water supply project rather than a developed tourist spot.
