Aralakalmodi Dam, also known as Kalmodi Dam, is a gravity dam on the Arala river in the western part of Khed taluka, standing just over 40 metres tall. Built to secure drinking water and irrigation for villages that the larger Chaskaman project does not reach, the dam fills to capacity most monsoons and overflows naturally, since it has no release gates. It remains a functional rather than scenic destination, valued locally more for water security than for tourism.
