Shilpgram Crafts Village

A government-run crafts complex near the Western Group of Temples, Shilpgram was set up to promote and preserve the traditional art forms of Madhya Pradesh's artisan communities. Local craftspeople showcase and sell handmade paintings, terracotta products, stone carvings, sandstone sculptures, and handloom textiles directly to visitors. Well organised and fixed-price, it is the most reliable place in Khajuraho to buy authentic regional crafts without bargaining. The complex also hosts cultural performances during the annual Khajuraho Dance Festival.
