Light and Sound Show

Every evening at Khajuraho's Western Group of Temples, floodlights transform the thousand-year-old sandstone facades as a narrated son et lumiere show brings the Chandela dynasty to life. The 50-minute performance, narrated by Amitabh Bachchan, traces the history and mythology behind the temples through dramatic lighting and sound. Held in both Hindi and English on rotation, it offers an entirely different experience of Khajuraho after dark.
