Triyuginarayan Temple is an ancient temple at 1,980 metres dedicated to Lord Vishnu, situated in the Triyuginarayan village about 25 km from Sonprayag. According to Hindu mythology, this is the exact site where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were married, with Lord Vishnu acting as Parvati's brother and Lord Brahma as the officiating priest. The eternal flame known as Akhand Jyoti has allegedly burned here since the wedding, fuelled by offerings of wood by devotees. The four kunds, Rudra Kund, Brahma Kund, Vishnu Kund, and Saraswati Kund, are located near the temple. It is a popular destination for couples seeking marital blessings.
