The Eastern Range at Agaratoli, near Kaziranga's eastern end, is the best part of the park for birdwatching, with large wetlands where pelicans, storks, ducks and other water birds gather in winter. Rhinos, wild water buffalo and elephants are also seen, and the range is quieter than Kohora.

Agaratoli opened for jeep safaris on 17 October 2026 for the 2026 to 2027 season. Jeep safari gate entry is 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Permits are issued by the Eastern Assam Wildlife Division at Bokakhat and through the Assam Sewa Setu portal.
