The Sumitranandan Pant Museum occupies the poet's family house in Kausani and shows manuscripts, photographs, and personal belongings. Pant, a leading Chhayavaadi poet and Jnanpith winner, wrote often about these hills. The veranda looks toward the same Himalayan line as the ashram. Stay in Kausani and walk between the two in under 15 minutes.
