Charan Paduka Temple sits at an altitude of 3,380 feet on the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage route, about 1.5 km beyond Ban Ganga. The shrine is built around a rock slab bearing what devotees believe to be the imprints of Mata Vaishno Devi's feet, left when she paused to check whether Bhairon Nath was still pursuing her. A glass covering protects the sacred footprints, and devotees bow in reverence before continuing their climb. The site offers serene mountain views and is managed by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
