Garden of Dreams is a formal garden inside the old Kaiser Mahal, on the edge of Thamel. Field Marshal Kaiser Shumsher built it in the 1920s, and it was later restored and opened to the public as a paid garden. Lawns, pavilions, and a small pond sit behind the gate, with a cafe on the grounds. It is a place to spend an hour when you want time off the lanes. Buy a ticket at the entrance.
