Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the palace square of Bhaktapur, east of Kathmandu. Yatrigo has no Bhaktapur destination yet, so this place is filed under Kathmandu. The square holds the Palace of Fifty-five Windows, the Golden Gate, and several temples. Nyatapola Temple is a few minutes' walk away in Taumadhi, inside the same old town. Bhaktapur charges its own entry fee, separate from the Kathmandu and Patan squares. The square is a UNESCO monument zone. Plan it as a half day, not a quick stop between other sights.
