Bela Church

Known also as Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Bela Church was constructed in 1890 and is regarded as one of the district's oldest religious structures. Standing about fourteen kilometers north of Kasaragod town, it reflects the coexistence of faiths that defines the wider region alongside its temples and mosques. The church remains an active place of worship for the local Catholic community and offers a quiet, low traffic stop for visitors tracing the district's religious diversity.
