Green Park Stadium

Green Park Stadium in Kanpur is one of India's oldest Test cricket grounds, having hosted its first Test match in 1952. The stadium has a capacity of around 32,000 and has witnessed many historic Indian cricket performances over the decades. Named after the locality, the stadium is known for its slow, turning pitches that have historically favoured Indian spin bowlers. It has hosted memorable matches including India's historic 1971 win over England. The stadium is managed by the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and remains the primary international cricket venue for the Kanpur region.
