Allen Forest Zoo (Kanpur Zoo)

Allen Forest Zoo, officially known as Kanpur Zoological Park, is one of the largest zoos in Uttar Pradesh, spread across 76 acres of natural forest area. Established in 1971, it is home to a wide variety of animals including tigers, lions, leopards, rhinos, hippos, deer, and numerous bird species. The zoo is known for its natural forest setting, which provides animals with a semi-wild environment. It is a popular family destination in Kanpur and also conducts conservation and breeding programmes for endangered species.
