Triveni Sangam at Kanyakumari is the sacred confluence where the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean meet at the southernmost tip of mainland India. The meeting of three distinct bodies of water creates a visible contrast in wave patterns, colours, and currents. Pilgrims consider a ritual bath here highly auspicious, and the ghat along the shore is one of the most spiritually significant bathing spots in South India. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue rise from the water just beyond this confluence.
