A quiet, clean stretch of coastline about 10 km from Kanyakumari town, Sanguthurai Beach is one of the least crowded beaches in the district. The beach is fringed by coconut palms and features a historic white pillar with a black conch sculpture from the Chola period. From the shore, visitors get distant views of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Ideal for peaceful walks and watching sunsets over the Arabian Sea.
