Situated just behind the Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Kanyakumari Bazaar is one of the oldest markets in the district, with hundreds of stalls lining the lanes around the temple complex. It is the go-to spot for locally made shell handicrafts, customised conches, coloured sands from Kanyakumaris famous multicoloured beach, coir and coconut products, spices, wooden crafts, and handloom sarees. The bazaar is particularly vibrant during festival seasons and draws pilgrims and tourists alike.
