Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary protects one of India's important mangrove belts at the Godavari estuary just outside Kakinada. Visitors take guided boats through tidal creeks to see mangrove roots, water birds, and occasional otters when luck holds. It is the strongest nature half day from the port city and pairs well with a Hope Island boat if tides allow. Carry sun protection, insect repellent, and book boats through authorised counters.
