Vriddha Badri is one of the Panch Badri temples, in Animath village on the Badrinath road about 7 km before Jyotirmath. Vishnu is worshipped here in the form of an old man, and tradition says the Badrinarayan image was worshipped here before it was enshrined at Badrinath.
