Kalpavriksha is a mulberry tree estimated at around 1200 years old, standing beside the Jyoteshwar Mahadev temple built at its base. Hindu scripture holds that Adi Shankaracharya worshipped Shiva under this tree, and the site is popularly believed to fulfil wishes of those who pray here with sincerity. The compact shrine takes only a short visit but carries outsized significance in local tradition.
