Garjia is one of the safari zones of Jim Corbett National Park, close to the Garjia Devi temple on the Kosi river north of Ramnagar. Its tracks run through sal forest, hill slopes and stream beds in the buffer area, with tigers, leopards, elephants, deer and many birds recorded.

Garjia is convenient for travellers staying along the Dhikuli road, where many of Corbett's resorts are, since the gate is a short drive away. It runs morning and afternoon jeep safaris with a fixed vehicle quota. Book permits on the official portal corbettonline.uk.gov.in; only registered safari gypsies with authorised guides may enter. Combine a safari here with a visit to the Garjia Devi temple nearby.
