Dhela is one of the newer tourism zones of Jim Corbett National Park, on the southern side of the reserve. It shares the Dhela gate with the Jhirna zone and covers sal and mixed forest, grassland and village land that was returned to the forest. Tigers, elephants, deer, wild boar and a wide range of birds are seen here.

Dhela is open all year, so it is one of the few Corbett zones running safaris through the monsoon when Dhikala, Bijrani and others are closed. Morning and afternoon jeep safaris run with a fixed number of vehicles. Book permits on the official portal corbettonline.uk.gov.in; only registered safari gypsies with authorised guides may enter. Stay in Ramnagar or along the Dhikuli road for an easy early start.
