Rani Mahal in Jhansi is the former palace of Rani Lakshmibai, the legendary queen who led the 1857 revolt against British rule. Located in the old city of Jhansi, the palace was the Rani's residence before she moved to the Jhansi Fort. The building has been converted into a museum that houses local archaeological finds, sculptures, coins, and artefacts from the Jhansi and Bundelkhand region. The palace's historical association with Rani Lakshmibai makes it a significant heritage site for visitors interested in India's independence history.
