Khajrana Ganesh Temple in Indore is one of the most revered Ganesh temples in Madhya Pradesh, built by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century. The temple houses a naturally occurring Ganesha idol discovered in a field and is believed to be deeply wish-fulfilling — devotees tie threads and place coconuts as vows, returning to fulfill them after their wishes are granted. The temple draws massive crowds on Wednesdays and during Ganesh Chaturthi. Its unique tradition of writing wishes on pieces of paper and placing them before the deity makes it a distinctly personal place of worship.
