Shantikunj is the headquarters of the All World Gayatri Parivar, one of the largest spiritual organisations in India. Founded in 1971 by Pandit Sriram Sharma Acharya, the ashram is dedicated to the revival of ancient Vedic traditions and the Gayatri mantra. The campus includes a Yagyashala where continuous havan is performed, the Gayatri Mata temple, the Akhand Deep, and various exhibition halls on Indian culture and philosophy. Training camps on yoga, spirituality, and Sanskrit are regularly held here. The ashram is calm, well-organised, and open to visitors of all backgrounds.
