Achyutaraya Temple

Achyutaraya Temple is a large temple complex dedicated to Lord Tiruvengalanatha (a form of Lord Vishnu), built in 1534 during the reign of King Achyutaraya. The temple is located in a beautiful setting near the Tungabhadra River and is surrounded by natural boulders and rock formations. The temple complex includes a main shrine, a large pillared hall, and several smaller structures. The temple is known for its impressive architecture, intricate carvings, and beautiful sculptures. The temple was built to commemorate the king's coronation and is one of the last major temples built in Hampi before the fall of the Vijayanagara Empire.
