Halebidu Archaeological Museum sits in the Hoysaleswara temple premises and holds more than a thousand Hoysala sculptures, inscriptions, and architectural members. Open-air and gallery displays include large Tirthankara images, dancing deities, and fragments recovered from ruined tanks and nearby digs. It is the best place to study iconography after walking the temple walls. Entry is separate and usually quick to cover in under an hour.
