Paradise has been a fixture of Guwahati's dining scene since 1984, giving it a longer history than most Assamese restaurants in the city. The thali includes a full traditional spread with a welcome drink, steamed rice, khar, dal, aloo pitika, vegetable fry, pigeon or duck curry, fish steamed in plantain leaves, masor tenga and sides like kahudi, kharoli and khorisa. The meal ends with a traditional Assamese dessert made of thick cream, puffed rice, jaggery and Assamese sweets, rounding out one of the more complete thali experiences in the city.
