Heritage Khorikaa

Heritage Khorikaa brings genuine Assamese cuisine to Guwahati under the guidance of celebrity chef Atul Lahkar, who has spent years documenting the region's culinary traditions. The signature thali, called Akhaj, includes rice, dal, khar, leafy vegetables, pitika, kharoli, kahudi and panitenga, served alongside fish, chicken or pork depending on preference. Several varieties of masor tenga feature prominently on the menu, and meals are traditionally served in kansa, a metal alloy used across Assamese households. The restaurant closes with a black sticky rice pudding for dessert.
