Parthasarathy Temple

Parthasarathy Temple in Guruvayur is dedicated to Lord Krishna in his form as Parthasarathy, the divine charioteer who guided Arjuna on the Kurukshetra battlefield and delivered the Bhagavad Gita. This unique iconographic form is rarely the primary deity of a temple, making this shrine particularly significant for devotees of the Mahabharata tradition. The temple follows traditional Kerala architecture and is located close to the main Guruvayur Krishna Temple, allowing pilgrims to include it as part of their spiritual circuit in the town.
