Apharwat Peak is the high alpine summit above Gulmarg, reached via the upper gondola phase when open. In winter it anchors some of India’s best-known ski terrain; in summer it offers ridgeline walks and wide Pir Panjal views. Weather closes the upper section often, so check operations the same day.
