The Dubai Mall sits beside Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai and is one of the largest shopping malls in the world. Even if you are not shopping, it is worth a walk for the multi level indoor waterfall with its diver sculptures and for Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, whose large tank is visible from the ground floor.
The entrance to At The Top, Burj Khalifa is on the Lower Ground level. Outside on Burj Lake, the Dubai Fountain shows run in the evening from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with a few afternoon shows, according to Emaar. You can watch free from the promenade or pay for the boardwalk or a lake ride.
Dubai Aquarium posts its own hours and ticket prices on thedubaiaquarium.com. Mall hours change around holidays and Ramadan, so check thedubaimall.com before a late visit.
