Shri Krishna Temple, also called Shrinathji Haveli, stands in Bur Dubai behind the Grand Mosque, on Ali Bin Abi Taleb Street in the Al Fahidi and Al Souq Al Kabeer lanes. It follows the Pushtimarg tradition centred on Shrinathji, a child form of Krishna. The Mercantile Hindu Community of Thatta (Sind), MHCT(S), manages the temple. Community accounts date the congregation to the early twentieth century. The present building was rebuilt in 1958 after Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum granted land and permission for a temple above the old souk shops.
When the Bur Dubai Shiva Mandir and the small gurdwara in the same complex closed on 3 January 2024, their worship moved to Hindu Temple Dubai in Jebel Ali. A Krishna Temple official told Gulf News the Haveli was not moving. It remains the main Hindu shrine still open at the historic Bur Dubai site.
