Hindu Temple Dubai stands in Jebel Ali Village, in the city's Worship Village beside Guru Nanak Darbar and several churches. It opened to the public on 5 October 2022. The National reported the inauguration and described a white temple that mixes Indian carving with Arabic mashrabiya screens, brass kalashas on the domes, and marble deities brought from India.
Shiva is the main deity. Wikipedia and contemporary reporting list many other shrines under the same roof, including Ganesh, Krishna, Rama, Venkateshwara, Durga, Murugan, Hanuman and Ayyappan, along with the Guru Granth Sahib. From 3 January 2024, darshan and puja that once took place at the Bur Dubai Shiva Mandir moved here. Gulf News and The National covered that shift. The separate Shri Krishna Temple (Shrinathji Haveli) stayed in Bur Dubai.
Visitor hours have changed since opening. Listings commonly give about 6:00 am to 8:30 pm daily, while The National reported 6:30 am to 8:30 pm at the 2022 launch.
