Dubai Marina is a district built around an artificial canal, with clusters of high rise towers on both sides. The skyline is one of the most recognisable in the city, especially at dusk when the towers light up over the water.
Marina Walk follows the canal past cafes, restaurants and yacht berths, and is a pleasant evening stroll. Dhow dinner cruises and boat tours leave from the marina, and the beach at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is a short walk away on the coast.
It is a lively area to stay or spend an evening, and combines easily with a trip to Palm Jumeirah next door.
