Bogibeel Bridge spans the Brahmaputra roughly sixteen to twenty kilometres from Dibrugarh, standing as India's longest combined rail and road bridge and a landmark of the region's modern infrastructure. Crossing on foot, bike or by vehicle offers sweeping views of the river below, with the nearly five kilometre double decker structure feeling both exhilarating and quiet depending on the hour. The bridge cuts travel time between Dibrugarh and Dhemaji district dramatically, and photographers often time visits around sunrise or sunset for the best light.
