Nandan Pahar is a popular hillock on the western edge of Deoghar, about 3 km from the city center, offering panoramic views across the town and surrounding landscape. The hill has mythological significance, believed to be where Ravana threw the divine Nandi when stopped from entering Shiva's realm. It carries a Nandi temple and a Shiva temple with idols of Shiva, Parvati, Ganesha, and Kartikeya. Adjacent to the temples, Nandan Hill Entertainment Park provides boating, a toy train, a children's park, mirror house, and a ghost house, making it a practical stop for families.
