The Dawki Bridge spans the Umngot near the India-Bangladesh frontier and has framed river photographs for decades. A short stop at the bridge and the Tamabil border area gives wide views along the river and out toward the plains beyond the hills. Follow local guidance on how far you may walk; this is an active border zone. Combined with a morning boat ride, it rounds out a classic Dawki half-day before you continue to Mawlynnong or overnight at Shnongpdeng.
