Bhagamandala is a sacred town located at the confluence of three rivers - Kaveri, Kannike, and the mythical Sujyoti, approximately 39 km from Madikeri. The town is home to the Sri Bhagandeshwara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Coorg. The temple complex features beautiful architecture and is surrounded by lush greenery. Bhagamandala is also the starting point for the trek to Talakaveri, the origin of the Kaveri River. The town holds great religious significance, especially during festivals, when thousands of devotees visit to take a holy dip at the confluence.
